Instructions:

Prepare the Cupcakes:

1. Preheat the Oven:

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.

2. Combine Dry Ingredients:

In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.

3. Cream Butter and Sugar:

6. Fill Cupcake Liners:

Divide the batter evenly among the cupcake liners, filling each about two-thirds full.

7. Bake:

Bake in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of a cupcake comes out clean.

8. Cool:

Allow the cupcakes to cool in the muffin tin for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Prepare the Buttercream Frosting:

9. Beat Butter: In a mixing bowl, beat the softened butter until creamy.

10. Add Sugar and Milk: Gradually add the powdered sugar and milk, alternating between the two, until the frosting reaches your desired consistency. Stir in the vanilla extract.
